' AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, BY AMENDING
CHAPTER 2 "ADMINISTRATION" BY AMENDING ARTICLE I BY ADDING A
NEW SECTION 2-10 TITLED "ADMINISTRATIVE FEES" TO PROVIDE FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ON-LINE TRANSACTION FEE; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Allen has established a service that permits citizens to complete city related on-line
transactions; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that there are certain costs involved to maintain and support this on-
line service and has determined that an administrative fee shall be established to assist in recouping the costs
involved for the continued support and maintenance of such service; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Teras hereby authorizes the establishment of an on-line
transaction fee which shall be set by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Code of Ordinances of the City of Allen, Texas, be and the same is hereby amended by
' amending Chapter 2 "Administration' by adding Section 2-10 to read as follows:
"Sec. 2-10. Administrative Fees.
An administrative fee shall apply for all on-line transactions. These on-line transactions include but are
not limited to: Utility Billing, Parks and Recreation, and Municipal Court. This administrative fee shall be set
by city council resolution.
Sec. 2-11. Reserved."
SECTION 2. All ordinances of the City of Allen, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, and publication of the
caption, as the law and charter in such cases provide.
