' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, APPROVING THE NOTICE OF INTENT AND STORM WATER
MANAGEMENT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL TO THE TEXAS
COMMISSION ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (TCEQ); AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Allen is increasing in population and urbanim ion; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Allen is required to conform to the Clean Water Act and apply for a Texas Pollutant
Discharge Elimination Systems (TPDES) permit through the TCEQ; and,
WHEREAS, the permit requires development of a plan that includes six control measures identified by the
TCEQ.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council approves the Notice of Intent and Storm Water Management Program
(attached) and authorizes the submittal of the Notice of Intent and Storm Water Management Program as the
initial submittal to TCEQ as p. t of th. TPDES permitting process. ---- --
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage

COUNTY, TEXAS, ON THIS THE 27TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2007.
