' AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BY REPEALING
ARTICLE V OF CHAPTER 11 TO DISSOLVE THE ALLEN ARTS ALLIANCE
BOARD; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Allen pursuant to Ordinance No. 1579-2-98 has established the Allen Arts Alliance
Board; and,
WHEREAS, the City Staff has determined that the Allen Arts Alliance Board is no longer necessary; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby dissolves the Allen Arts Alliance Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Chapter 11 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by repealing Article V to dissolve the
Allen Arts Alliance Board.
SECTION 2. All ordinances of the City of Allen in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and the
same are hereby repealed and all other ordinances of the City of Allen not in conflict with the provisions of the
ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
' SECTION 3. If any section, paragraph, sentence, subdivision, clause, phrase or provision of this ordinance
be adjudged or held to be unconstitutional, illegal, or invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of this
ordinance as a whole or any part or provision hereof other than the part so decided to be unconstitutional,
illegal, or invalid and shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this ordinance or any other provision of
the ordinances of the City of Allen.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage as the law in such cases
provides.
