O-106-5-71106 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AIWNEXING TERRITORY INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. THAT WHEREAS, an application having been made for annexing certain territory to the City of Allen, Texas, which said application is in the form of a petition duly and legally executed and filed with the Mayor of the City of Allen, Texas, and the Mayor having certified the same to the Council of the City of Allen, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Allen has investigated into said petition and determined that all of the facts contained in said petition are true; and, WHEREAS, the Council has determined that it will be advantageous and beneficial to the City of Allen and its inhabitants as well as the here- inafter described territory to annex such territory to the City of Allen; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS: SECTION l: That the territory described as follows be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Allen, Texas, to -wit: WHEREAS, ALIEN - EAST CO., is the owner of a tract of land situated in the David Wetsel Survey, Abstract No. 977, City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, and further being a part of a 148.801 Acre Tract conveyed to Allen Land Company by Deed recorded in Volume 683, Page 787 of the Deed Records of Collin County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNIIC at the Southeast corner of Hillside Village No. 3, an Addition to the City of Allen, Texas, as recorded in Volume 6 at page 100 of the Map Records of Collin County, Texas, an iron stake for corner; THENCE, South 00 14, East, a distance of 1340.10 feet to an iron stake for corner; THENCE, North 890 26, West, a distance of 1700.00 feet to an iron stake for corner; THENCE, North 890 00' West, a distance of 179.00 feet to an iron stake for corner; 0 THENCE, North 11 201 West, a distance of 222.17 feet to an iron stake for corner; THENCE, North 170 261 West, a distance of 50.00 feet to the beginning of a curve to the Left, having a Central angle of 10 35' and a radius of 1578.00 feet, an iron stake for corner; THENCE, around said curve a distance of 43.60 feet to the end of said curve, an iron stake for corner; THENCE, North 19 Olt West, a distance of 115.00 feet to the beginning of a curve to the Left having a central angle of 240 59, and a radius of 1463.00 feet, an iron stake for corner; THENCE, around said curve a distance of 637.93 feet to the end of said curve, said point being the beginning of a curve to the Right having a cen- tral angle of 150 59' 20" and a radius of 1270.00 feet, an iron stake for corner; THENCE, around said curve a distance of 354.40 feet to the end of said curve, an iron stake for corner; THENCE, North 260 53' West a distance of 250.02 feet to t$e beginning of a curve to the Right having a back tangent bearing South 62 10' 28" West and a central angle of 280 23' 32" and a radius of 1520.00 feet, an iron stake for corner; THENCE, around said curve a distance of 753.22 feet to the end of said curve, an iron stake for corner; THENCE, South 890 26' East a distance of 491.31 feet to the place of EEGITPIING and containine 45.663 Acres of land. SECTION 2. That from and after the passage of this ordinance said terr- itory shall be a part of the City of Allen, Texas, and the inhabitants there- of shall be entitled to all the rights, privileges and immunities of all other citizens of the City of Allen, Texas, and shall be bound by all of the ordinances and regulations enacted pursuant to and in conformity with the gen- eral laws of the State of Texas. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect imaediately upon its passage and approval and it is so ordained.
