O-117-10-71CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 117 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDRY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS AND GRANTING TO ALL THE INHABITANTS OF SAID TERRITORY ALL THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER MIZENS AND BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS, ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS AND REGUTATIOS OF THE CITY AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, application having been dilly made for annexing the below described territory to the City of Allen, Texas, which application is in the form of a petition duly and legally executed and filed with the Mayor of the City of Allen, Texas, and the Mayor having certified the same to the Council of the City of Allen, Texas, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held not more than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the institution of such annexation proceedings with notice of such hearing given in the manner prescribed by law and all other requirements of notice and completion of such annexation procedure being fulfilled, and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Allen has investigated into and determined that all of the facts contained in said petition are true, and WHF.REAS,the Council of the City of Allen has investigated and determined that it will be advantageous and beneficial to the City of Allen and its inhabitants as well as the hereinafter described territory to annex such territory to the City of Allen, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS: SECTION ONE: That the territory described as follows be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Allen, Texas, to -wit: BEING a tarct of land situated in the David Wetsel Survey, Abstract No. 977, Collin County, Texas, part of which is a 148 acre tract conveyed to Allen Laid Company, recorded in Volume 688 at Page 787 of the Deed Records of Collin County, Texas, also being a part of a 100.100 acre tract of land conveyed to Allen Land Company, recorded in Volume 683 at page 784 of the Deed Records of Collin County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the East line of the David Wetsel Survey, Abstract No. 977, said point being the Southeast corner of Hillside Village No. 3, an addition to the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, an iron stake for corner; SECTION TWO: That from and after the passage of this Ordinance, said terri o� shall be a part of the City of Allen, Texas, and the inhabit- ants thereof shall be entitled to all of the rights, privileges and immunities of all other citizens of the City of Allen, Texas, and shall be bound by all of the ordinances and regulations pursuant to and in conformity with the general laws of the State of Texas.
