AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITCRY TO THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS,
AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE
SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS AND GRANTItU TO ALL THE
INHABITANTS OF SAID TERRITORY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES
OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE
ACTS, ORDINANCES, RESOLUATIONS AND REGULATIONS OF THE CITY
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, application having been iuly made for annexing the below
described territory to the City of Allen, Texas, which application is in
the form of a petition duly and legally executed and filed with the Mayor
of the City of Allen, Texas, and the Mayor, having certified the same to
the Council of the City of Allen, Taxes, and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held not more than twenty nor leas than
ten days prior to the institution of such annexation proceedings with notice
of such hearing given in the manner prescribed by law and all other re-
quirements of notice and completion of such annexation procedure being
fulfilled, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Allen has investigated into and
determined that all of the facts contained in said petition are true, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Allen has investigated and deter-
mined that it will be advantageous and beneficial to the City of Allen and
its inhabitants as well as the hereinafter described territory to annex
such territory to the City of Allen, Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF ALIEN,
TEXAS : i
SECTION ONE: That the territory described as follows be and the same
is heretFamexRel to the City of Allen, Texas, to -wit:
BEING all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land in the George W. Ford
Survey, Abstract 328, Collin County, Trncas, being Tract 1B in deed from David
L. Fair, Trustee to Neil I. Holm, and described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING, at a point for corner in North line of said G.W. Ford Survey,
said corner being South 890 571 West, 10$6.54 feet from North East corner of
said Survey,
THENCE 8 ° ,
, South 9 57 West along North line of said Survey, and along
center line of a public road, 1230.24 feet to a point for corner in same,
THENCE, South along an old hedge row and turn row, 2656.50 feet to a
point for corner in the South line of G.W. Ford Survey,
THENCE, North 890 57' East along South line of said Survey, and along an
established fence line and hedgerow, 1230.24 feet to a point for corner in
same,
THENCE, North along West line of a graveled road, 2656.24 feet to the
place of beginning and containing 75.00 acres of land more of less.
SECTION TWO: That from and after the passage of this Ordinance, said
terra ory--s ebe a part of the City of Allen, Texas, and the inhabitants
thereof shall be entitled to all of the rights, privileges and immunities
of all other citizens of the City of Allen, Texas,
and shall be bound by all of the ordinances and regulations enacted pursuant
to and in cinformity with the general laws of the State of Texas.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval and it is so ordained.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas,
on this the 16th day of Se ember, 1971.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, has
been petitioned to annex the property herein described and accordingly, after
due notice, a public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of
Allen on the lAth day of September , 1971, at 7:30 o'clock
P.M. to determine whether or not annexation proceedings should be commenced.
Said property is described as follows:
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land in the George W. Ford Survey,
Abstract 328, Collin County, Texas, being Tract IS, in deed from David L. Fair,
Trustee, to Neil I. Holm, and described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING, at a point for corner in North line of said G.W. Ford Survey,
said corner being South 890 57' West, 1056,54 feet from North East corner of
said survey;
THENCE, South 890 571 West along North line of said Survey, and along
