R-5-71RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Council has investigated the needs for an additional
water supply for the future needs and for the well being of the citizens of
the City of Allen, Texas; and
WHEREAS, said City Council, after hearing a report of the study made by
the City Engineer, that it would not be feasible for the City of Allen to de-
pend upon it's present water supply for it's future needs; now,
THEREFORE-.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TERAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby authorize Frank Dugger,
Mayor, to enter into negotiations with the North Texas Municipal Water Dist-
rict, to supply the City of Allen with it's future water needs.
SECTION 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage, as provided.
