ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THE ALLEY IN
BLOCK 17 OF OLD DONATION ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
HEREOF.
THAT WHEREAS, the owners of the property abutting the
alley which runs through, in an Easterly and Westerly
direction, Block 17 of the Old Donation Addition to the
City of Allen, Texas, have petitioned the City Council
to abandon said alley; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said
alley is not needed by the citizens of the City of Allen
and that the same should be closed and abandoned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the alley running in an Easterly and
Westerly direction through Block 17 of the Old Donation to
the City of Allen be and the same is hereby closed and
abandoned for public use forever.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption and it is so ordered.
