AN ORDINANCE OFFERING A REWARD FOR INFORMATION
LEADING TO THE ARREST AND CONVICTION OF PERSONS
WHO COMMIT THE OFFENSE OF ARSON WITHIN THE CITY
OF ALLEN, TEXAS; AND REPEALING ANY AND ALL PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That from and after the effective date
of this Ordinance the City of Allen, Texas, offers and
promises to pay a reward of $2$0.00 to any person who
voluntarily gives information to any law enforcement
officer which information leads to the arrest and
subsequent conviction of any person who commits the
offense of arson within the corporate limits of the
City of Allen, Texas.
SECTION 2: That any and all parts of this Ordinance
in connection with or in conflict with the provisions of
this Ordinance shall be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately after its passage and approval.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
ALLEN, TEXAS, on this the day o 1972.
