An Ordinance approving certain Rate Schedules filed by Texas Power
Light Compaq in the City of Allen, Texas, and providing conditions
under which such Rate Schedules may be changed, modified, amended or
withdrawn:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AL;_;?,
TELES:
SECTION le That Teras Power & Light Company, having filed
on the 9th day of November, 1973, its Rate Book No. W-74-50, con-
taining a set of electric Rate Schedules and the Service Regulations
referred to therein, with the City Secretary, the same aro hereby
approved as Schedules of Rates and Service Regulations under which
said Company is authorized to collect charges from its customers
for the sale of electric power and energy within the corporate
limits of the City until such ties as said Rate Schedules and
Service Regulations may be changed, modified, amended or withdrawn,
with the approval of the Cita Council.
SECTION 2: The filing of the Rate Schedules and Service
Regulations, and the approval of same by the City Council, in
the manner herein provided shall constitute notice to the con-
sumers of electricit8 within the City, of the availability and
application of such Rate Schedules and Service Regulations.
a.CTIO'I 3: Such Rate Schedules and Service Regulations,
shall become effective and shall be in full force and effective
March 1, 1974 and shall apply to all biL's rendered after February 28,
1974.

Gentlemen,
Under the terms of its franchise, and or letter agreement, heretofore
granted by the City of Allen, Terns Power 1, Light Company is required to
pay to the City as street rentals two per cent (2%) of its annual gross
revenues from the sale of electric power and energy.
Effective March 1, 1974, Texas Power 4 Light Compare agrees to increase
to three per cent (3%) of its annual gross revenues from the sale of electric
power and energy, the amount paid to the City of Allen as street rentals;
such increased rate for the current year to be computed only on bills rendered
by the Company to its customers after February 28, 1974.
Please acknowledge your receipt of this letter and your agreement to
this increase by signing in the space provided below.
