Call to Order
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Doss at 8:04 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, in the
Third Floor Conference Room located in City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas 75013.
Approve Minutes of the February 17, 2016, Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Brooks and a second by Board Member Pickle, the
Board voted three (3) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes of February 17, 2016,
Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
1 2. Update on Convention Hotel.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on the Convention Hotel project.
Update on Marketing Results including the Travel Rally.
Ms. Jones presented an update on the marketing results. She also highlighted several events
including the recent travel rally.
Discussion of Board Evaluation to Provide Feedback to the Council Nominating Committee.
Chair Doss discussed the evaluation form with the Board.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Vice -Chair Wilson and a second by Board Member Pickle, the Board
voted three (3) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting of the Allen
Convention and Visitor's Bureau Advisory Board at 8:54 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.
The motion carried.
