Pierson and H.R. Daugherty An emergency meeting was called to restrict outside watering because of the critically low water level in the storage tanks. A maximum of 1.9 million gallons had been allowed for our supply and the useage had reached 2.2 million gallons. Several alternatives were discussed in order to allow some watering but to also bring the water supply level back to a safe point. Motion Andrew Second Farmer to repeal Ordinance #307. Motion carried 5 for 0 against. Motion Andrew Second Farmer to adopt Ordinance #312, AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR OUTSIDE WATERING AND LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION; REPEALING ORDINANCE #307; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PUBLICATION OF THE CAPTION HEREOF. Motion carried 5 for 0 against. This ordinance provides for outside watering with a hand held device only, except from 2:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M., when sprinklers can also be used.
