�rJ ANNEXATION PUBLIC HEARING

In accordance with V. T. C. A., Local Government Code, Chapters 42 and 43, the
public hearing was called to order by Director of Community Development, at 1:00
p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 1992, in the Council Chambers of the Allen Municipal
Annex, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
Director of Community Development, Bill Petty, advised that an Application for
Annexation was received from Issam Karanouh (CB4, Ltd.) on April 6, 1992,
requesting the City of Allen to annex 63.111 acres of land north of Chaparral and
West of Cottonwood Creek. This parcel of land has been in the Plano City limits and
i has been under consideration by the Plano City Council for disannexation. The
Plano City Council adopted Ordinance No. 92-4-1 on April 13, 1992 culminating the
disannexation procedure for this piece of property (Case D92-01).
Mr. Petty advised that the 63.111 acres of land is located in the R. C. Whisenant
Survey, Abstract No. 1012, Collin County, Texas; further described as being
located north of Chaparral and east of Cottonwood Creek.
Mr. Petty advised that the prepared service plan for the 63.111 acres was available
for public review.
Mr. Petty opened the public hearing. No one appeared to speak either for or against
this annexation request. Mr. Petty closed the public hearing.
The public hearing was adjourned at 1:05 p.m.
