ANNEXATION PUBLIC HEARING

In accordance with V T C.A., Local Government Code, Chapters 42 and 43, the public
hearing was called to order by Bill Petty, Director of Community Development, at 1:00 p.m. on
Thursday, December 21, 1995, in the Council Chambers of the Allen Municipal Amex, One Butler
Circle, Allen, Texas.
Bill Petty, Director of Community Development, advised that an Application for Annexation
had been submitted by Opubco Properties, Inc. requesting the City of Allen to annex approximately
106.114 acres of land located immediately north of Hedgecoxe Road and east of Custer Road.
Mr Petty advised that the prepared service plan for the 106.114 acres was available for public
review
Mr. Petty opened the public hearing. No one appeared to speak either for or against this
annexation request. Mr Petty closed the public hearing.
The public hearing was adjourned at 1:05 p in.

In accordance with V T.C.A., Local Government Code, Chapters 42 and 43, the public
hearing was called to order by Bill Petty, Director of Community Development, at 1:05 p.m. on
Thursday, December 21, 1995, in the Council Chambers of the Allen Municipal Annex, One Butler
Circle, Allen, Texas.
Bill Petty, Director of Community Development, advised that an Application for Annexation
had been submitted by the Allen Independent School District (AISD) requesting the City of Allen to
annex approximately 13.438 acres of land located south of Hampton Drive and east of the City of
Allen park property southeast of Bel Air Drive.
Mr. Petty advised that the prepared service plan for the 13.438 acres was available for public
review
Mr Petty opened the public hearing.
Bob Curtis, Property Services Director with AISD, spoke in support of this annexation and
requested the City of Allen to annex this 13.438 acre tract of land in order to build an elementary
school — the seventh elementary school in the Allen Independent School District.
Mr. Petty closed the public hearing.
The public hearing was adjourned at 1:07 p.m.
