ANNEXATION PUBLIC DARING

In accordance with VT C.A., Local Government Code, Chapters 42 and 43, a public hearing
authorized by the Allen City Council was presided over by Bill Petty, Director of Community
Development, at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 1996, in the Council Chambers of the Allen
Municipal Annex, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
Bill Petty, Director of Community Development, advised that an Application for Annexation
had been submitted by Ann Moore Vigil and Linda Sue Moore on July 10, 1996, requesting the City
of Allen to annex approximately 128.365 f acres of land located in the Simon Burns Survey, Abstract
92, more commonly known to be north of Bandy (Bethany) and west of Malone Road
I
Mr. Petty advised that the prepared service plan for the 128.365 t acres was available for
public review and the required public notification has taken place in accordance with state law.
Mr. Petty opened the public hearing and asked for anyone speaking either for or against the
request to do so at this time.
With no one speaking either for or against the request, Mr. Petty closed the public hearing.
The public hearing was adjourned at 10:05 a.m.
