CITY OF ALLEN
ANNEXATION PUBLIC HEARING
July 17, 1997
In accordance with V T.C.A., Local Government Code, Chapters 42 and 43, a public hearing
authorized by the Allen City Council was presided over by City Secretary Judy Morrison, at 1:00 p.m.
on Thursday, July 17, 1997, in the Council Chambers of the Allen Public Library, Two Civic Plaza,
Allen, Texas.
City Secretary Judy Morrison advised that an Application for Annexation had been submitted by
Ben L. Martin on Jane 16, 1997, requesting the City of Allen to annex 67 10 acres of land Situated in
the William Snyder Survey, Volume 576, Page 472, of the deed records, County of Collin, Texas,
more commonly known to be located immediately north of Bethany Road and west of FM 2551.
Ms. Morrison advised that the prepared service plan for the 67.10 acres was available for public
review and the required public notification has taken place in accordance with state law
Ms. Morrison opened the public hearing and asked for anyone speaking either for or against the
request to do so at this time.
With no one speaking either for or against the request, Ms. Morrison closed the public hearing.
The public hearing was adjourned at 1:05 p.m.
