ANNEXATION PUBLIC HEARING
FEBRUARY 4, 1999

In accordance with V T.C.A., Local Government Code, Chapters 42 and 43, a public hearing
authorized by the Allen City Council was presided over by Community Development Director Bill Petty, at
1.00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 1999, in the Council Chambers of the Allen Public Library, Two Civic
Plaza, Allen, Texas.
Mr. Petty advised that an Application for Annexation had been submitted by Charles A. Angel, Jr., on
January 7, 1999, requesting the City of Allen to annex 203.39± acres of land situated in the Witsaul Fisher
Survey, Abstract No. 323, Collin County, Texas, and being the same land described in a conveyance as
recorded in Volume 672, Page 395 of the Deed Records of Collin County, Texas, more commonly known to
be located east of Malone Road and south of Exchange Parkway
Mr. Petty advised that the prepared service plan for the 203.39± acres was available for public review
and the required public notification has taken place in accordance with state law
Mr. Petty opened the public hearing and asked for anyone speaking either for or against the request to
do so at this time.
Mr. Ron Haynes, proponent, spoke in favor of the request
With no one else speaking either for or against the request, Mr. Petty closed the public hearing.
The public hearing was adjourned at 1:05 p.m.
