' AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 17364-99 AS HERETOFORE
AMENDED, TO CORRECT SCRIVENER'S ERRORS RELATING TO THE ZONING
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION, DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AND TRACT
REFERENCES IN SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING A SEVERABIdTY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A PENALTY OF FINE NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000) FOR EACH OFFENSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, finds and determines that Ordinance
No. 1736-699, as heretofore amended, should be amended to correct certain scrivener's errors in said Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1736-6-99 of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas including all exhibits
attached thereto, be and the same is hereby amended by changing all references to "R-6 Single Family
Residential" to "R-5 Single Family Residential."
SECTION 2. The Development Standards, Exhibit B to Ordinance No. 17366-99, be and the same is
' hereby amended by correcting the reference to "Tracts 1 and 2" in item (B)(1) to "Tract 1," by correcting the
reference to "Tract 3" in item (B)(3) to "Tract 2," by correcting the reference to "Tram 3a" in item (Bx4) to
"Tract 2a"; by correcting the reference to "Tract 2" in item (C)(1) to "Tract 1"; by correcting the reference to
"Tract 3a" in item (Cx2) to "Tract 2a," and by correcting the reference to "Tract 3a" in item (C)(2xa) to
"Tract 2a."
SECTION 3. All ordinances of the City of Allen in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall be,
and the same are hereby, repealed; provided, however, that all other provisions of said ordinances not in
conflict herewith shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. Should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or section of this ordinance, or
of the Allen Land Development Code, as amended hereby, be adjudged or held to be void or unconstitutional, the
same shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of said ordinance or the Allen Land Development
Code, as amended hereby, which shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 5. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions or terms of this Ordinance
shall be subject to the same penalty as provided for in the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Richardson, as heretofore amended, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed the sum of
Two Thousand ($2,000) Dollars for each offense; and each and every day such violation shall continue shall
be deemed to constitute a separate offense.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage in accordance with the
provisions of the Charter of the City of Allen, and it is accordingly so ordained.
